In Loving Memory of Robert Brian Joyce III ("Robby")

MESA, AZ — Robert Brian Joyce III, affectionately known as "Robby," passed away on February 13, 2026, at 3:33 PM, at Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. He was only 21 years old.

Robby lived life with a passion for speed and a gift for working with his hands. Whether he was riding his street bike or tinkering with motorcycles, he was happiest when he was on two wheels. At the time of his passing, he was proudly refurbishing a Corvette and was full of anticipation for the start of an exciting new career. Though Robby faced a lifelong, courageous battle with Type 1 Diabetes, he never let it dim his spirit or his drive for the things he loved. In a final, heroic act of selflessness, Robby was an organ donor, providing several families with a possible second chance at life.

He is survived by his mother, Ryan Nichole Lewis, and his stepfather, Nicholas Scott Lewis, of Mesa, AZ; as well as his father, Robert Brian Joyce II, of Newbury Park, CA. Robby was a cherished brother to his sisters, Taylor Lee Cruz and Kayli Love Joyce, as well as his six stepsiblings: Angel Leann, Gage Nicholas, Jenevieve Nicole, Delilah Audrian, Nikki Eugene, and Abby Istas Lewis.

He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Max Carroll and Janet Lee Whitley, and his paternal grandparents, Robert Brian and Sindee Joyce Sr. Robby leaves behind a large extended family of great-aunts, great-uncles, aunts, uncles, and cousins—as well as a multitude of friends—who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. He will forever be his mama's boy.
