Buckey, AZ - Patsy Dean Cone, 86, of Buckeye, Arizona, passed away April 23, 2026, after a valiant fight with IPF. Born January 14, 1940, in Union City, Oklahoma, to Elvin "Hoot" and Nadine Lair, Patsy will be remembered for her faith, love of family, her connections with friends/classmates, her servant heart and her spirit of adventure.
She was an exemplary volunteer during the time her husband was an officer in the army and ended her working career as a teacher for Buckeye Elementary School. Her most important legacy is the example she set in the life she lived and the faith she shared about her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
She is survived by her husband of 65+ years, three children, nine grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren and her sister. She was preceded in death by her brother, mother and father.
A Celebration of Life will be held on June 6, 2026, at 10:30 am at First Southern Baptist Church in Buckeye, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the Operation Christmas Child ministry at the church.
