Mesa, AZ - Judith Ann Konz, 78, of Mesa, AZ passed peacefully May 29, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was a woman who cherished her family deeply. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wayne, her step-son Dave Konz, step-grandson Andrew Konz and brother Bruce Borg. She will be forever missed by her son and daughter-in-law, Ted and Debbie Trautman of Westerville, OH and step-daughter Linda Wallendorf of Menifee, CA; along with her adored grandchildren: Cole, Sara and Annie (Trautman), Josh, Valinda, Jennifer and David (Wallendorf), and Lizzie (Konz), and eleven great grandchildren. Judy is also survived by her older brother and four younger sisters.

Born in Valley City, ND to the late Evelyn and Ernest Borg, Judy was raised on a farm near Sanborn, ND. She graduated from Valley City High School in 1965 and moved to Fargo, ND soon after. She had a full career working for the United States Postal Service in Human Resources. Following her retirement, she and Wayne relocated to Mesa, AZ where she lived for the past 33 years. Judy also worked as a travel agent with Terra Travel for several years in her early retirement, organizing group trips around the world. She was a parishioner at St. George Roman Catholic Church in Apache Junction.

Judy was a true globetrotter, always ready for the next adventure. Whether cruising the South Pacific or immersing herself in the varied cultures of India, Judy sought to explore the world and to learn new things. She delightedly visited all seven continents, with Antarctica high on her bucket list. She enjoyed an active and social life in her Sunland Springs Village community, where she walked and swam daily and treasured her time with her dear friends. She found great joy in following her grandchildren's activities and loved spending time with Wayne in their home-away-from-home, Cancun, Mexico. She will always be remembered for her kindness, curiosity, colorful style and bright, beautiful smile.

A Rosary Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Memorial Mass at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at St. George Roman Catholic Church in Apache Junction.
