Arlene C McLean Obituary

Mesa, AZ - Arlene was the eldest child of Arthur J. and Lila M. (Rice) Lunde of Mohall, N.D.


In 1971 she met Lowell (Pete) R. McLean and they were married at the First Lutheran Church of Minot on Nov 16, 1974. They moved to Mesa in Aug 1986. She worked as a bookkeeper and CPA for a flower shop and eventually became the in-house accountant for a Veterinary Hospital until 2004.


Throughout the years Arlene was involved with the church as a Sunday school teacher, Choir, Social Ministry, Bible study leader and Recorder for the church nurses. She also volunteered at the Red Mountain Center in the Senior Gift Shop.


Arlene is survived by her husband Lowell (Pete) R. McLean and her two sons: David E. McLean and Cory D. McLean. Her siblings Gary, Lee, Marsha, and Anita along with her Sister-in-law Bonnie and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Lila, her brother Monte, her niece Cynthia, her nephew Andrew, as well as her brother-in-law Tim.



Memorial services will be held at 11am on 5/21/26 at Victory Lutheran Church in Mesa.
